You will definitely need a mount (or horse) to traverse the lands of Tamriel.
The Gold Edition comes with a free Palomino horse mount that you can use immediately
If the edition you bought did not come with a mount, here’s how to get one
Simply level a character to level 10 and you’ll get a free Sorrel Horse that is unlocked account wide!
Otherwise, you can pay <gulp> 42,600 gold at a Stablemaster to purchase the cheapest horse. So it’s better to just level up a character.
Finally, you can buy a mount using Crowns. They’ll be much more fancy-looking but they do not differ in performance as compared to the normal horse
Don’t forget to upgrade your mount speed, capacity and stamina at the stablemaster once every 20 hours. You can also speed this up by spending crowns
