Yes, you’ll need to have 8-12 skill points. If you don’t have them ready, you’ll get stuck in the middle and your writs will contain mats requirements for that level
- Enchanting – 12 skill points
- Provisioning – 8 skill points
- Alchemy – 7 skill points
- Others – 9 skill points

Provisioning (easiest)
Craft the highest level green food/drink you can.
As you level up your Provisioning, invest skill points into Recipe Improvement and craft the higher level green recipe or else the returns will diminish.
It’s best to do this beside a Chef/Brewer NPC so that you can purchase the higher level recipes right away. Example of a good place: Glenumbra’s Daggerfall inn. You’ll need gold for this, recipes can cost from 270 gold up to 1.2K gold
You’ll be able to invest another point in Recipe Improvement once your Provisioning reaches: 10, 20. 30, 40, 50
Provisioning ingredients are cheap! This add-on can help
Clothing / Blacksmithing / Woodworking
Decon any gear with traits. Intricate ones that are cp160 gives maximum inspiration.
Sell those non-trait armor/weapons for gold rather than deconning them.
You can also find a partner and decon his crafted weapons/armor.
Enchanting
You can level another character’s Enchanting level by crafting the highest level green/blue/purple (purple runes are best) runes with a different character and extracting them with the character to be levelled.
Otherwise, you’ll have to buy them at guild stores
Alchemy
All your characters should level this craft skill level even if they’re not a crafter due to the Medicinal Use passive in Alchemy skill line. The max level only unlocks at Level 50.
Craft as many highest-level possible poisons you can. You’ll need large number of poison solvents and reagents to start this
Make sure to use the highest level poison solvent you can
The cheapest reagents to use for this is Spider Egg, Fleshfly Larva, White Cap and Blue Entoloma.
Spider Egg and Blue Entoloma can be used to create a Conspicious Poison.
More expensive options are Imp Stool, Butterfly Wings, Emetic Russela, Dragonthorn, Luminous Russula, Nightshade, Nirnroot, Stinkhorn.
You’ll need about 30 – 100 (more as you level up) of each poison solvent to level up in the skill level to put the next skill point in for the next poison solvent level. The last 2 levels only require 10 Tarblack and about 15 Night-Oil each
